I think that’s what I mean. Things are fine. Molly’s mom Barbara left yesterday after helping us out all week. The wheels haven’t come off yet, but nearly, as our main sewer drain backed up into the basement (maybe 30 gallons worth) sometime between us leaving for our baby shower, and coming back from the shower. After my (ridiculous) attempt to wind a $25 drain snake down the main sewer drain in our basement I shouted up to Molly “Google Madison Plumber!” We got a guy from Capitol Plumbing Company to come over and root it all out (probably a tree root ironically.) Didn’t take long and only cost $125, which I consider cheap for giving us back our sinks and toilets for the rest of the weekend. Is this about our baby at all? It is about sewage I guess. Close enough. We toured St Mary’s hospital this evening although we’ve been there 3 times this summer. I enjoyed pushing Molly around in a wheelchair.
The highlight of the weekend was the baby shower at Megan and Chris’ house. Good time had by all. Some beautiful and crafty thoughtful gifts, enough to eat for twice the people, and best of all Cletus stayed in the womb straight through the whole thing. I’ll post a photo tomorrow. Molly won’t give me her laptop at the moment.
sh!t.
I mean it.
Been there.
